The Ethel and James Flinn Foundation partnered with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services in 2015 to launch a multi-year statewide campaign to reduce the stigma of mental health. A series of 30 minute videos and social media campaign were developed to increase awareness to help identify the signs of mental health conditions, share personal stories from people who have experienced mental health challenges and to provide resources to help. The Foundation produced six powerful 30 minute videos that aired on cable and local television throughout the state. These videos are owned by the Flinn Foundation and available free to the community for download and use. Prior approval is not necessary and we encourage schools, health providers and an other community organizations to share the videos with the populations they serve as well as the general public. If you have any other questions regarding use of the videos, please email info@flinnfoundation.org.
